I don’t remember a lot about this show, except the following:
1) A Sea of Black clothes
2) Sweat. Lots and lots of sweat
3) Some jackass imitating Eddie Vedder by doing the backwards “dead fall” from the balcony into the crowd.

I remember the buzz surrounding Sinéad O’Connor’s debut “The Lion and The Cobra” (1987). I loved that album, yet I never had the opportunity to see her live (OMG, I can’t imagine seeing her perform “Mandinka” or “Troy” on that first tour… she must have emanated piss and vinegar!).
Nope, I didn’t get to see Sinéad [...]

I have great memories of this show. Or rather, I am told great things happened at this show. Lemme explain:
I was 21 years old in 1991, and I had a great friend guru, named Ernie. Ernie is probably 10 years old than me. He is a brilliant, eloquent, tall brother with enormous dreadlocks and fantastic [...]

The latter album, Pink Floyd’s last featuring founding member Roger Waters, was my [...]
I saw Shakespeare's Sister, Chris Connelly & William Tucker... Shakespeare’s Sister

I am so excited that I still have this flyer and ticket!
This flyer represents one of the coolest nights of my college life; it was the first time I ever visited Chicago. I grew up in Michigan and I had always intended to visit metropolitan Chicago… but I didn’t do so until my Senior year [...]
I saw Van Halen's Monsters of Rock... Spandex and Stolen Hot Dogs!

I have such fond memories of this show… juvenile delinquent that I was.
This was 1988, and I was a senior in high school. My fond memories are not because I was a fan of Van Halen. Or Scorpions, Dokken, or even Metallica, for that matter. Certainly not because I was a fan of Kingdom Come [...]
