I loved her first solo album, but couldn’t convince anyone else to go to the show with me, so I went alone – with absolutely no regrets.
Semisonic opened for her, and when she introduced the band, she joked and reminded the audience she was “Alanis”.

Ooooh I’m envious! Was this tour in support of her first album (Whatever, 1993) or her second album (I’m with Stupid, 1995)?
I had just moved to Boston in 1993 when her first album came out, and I used to go visit the Newbury Comics store where she used to work, in the days before ‘Til Tuesday. Aimee is Aimazing.

Yep,
first tour for her first solo album.
I think a read a good review of the CD,
and took a chance that paid off.
Been a huge fan ever since.
