Mon, 09 Nov 2009 03:46:18 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.8 en hourly 1 THE BIG SLIDE SHOW! ~ http://www.pixandtix.com/concert-memories/the-big-slide-show/ http://www.pixandtix.com/concert-memories/the-big-slide-show/#comments Fri, 08 May 2009 20:19:36 +0000 divadavoo http://www.pixandtix.com/?p=90 This was one very strange night….  Many of us know Crispin Glover from “Back to the Future” (1985) and more recently in “Charlie’s Angles” (2000).  He also has many other interests, other than acting, as we saw this evening where he showed a slide show of very interesting/disturbing pictures from his directorial debut “What Is It?” (Which then came out in 2005)  and read a “book” of his, shared some of his music and did some spoken word. I am not sure that I can even describe what it is that I saw that night.  At least not with any accuracy ~ alas, it was almost 15 years ago.  Afterward, he signed books and mingled awkwardly with the Bellingham crowd.  He had attracted quite a few people to the 3B Tavern that night and the place was busy.
crispinglover100695 I was with my friends Pia and Jesse (both also worked at the 3B Tavern at the time).  My memory is that Pia and I remained confused after the performance ~ however, I remember Jesse being impressed with the performance and getting a chance to meet the very strange, yet clearly successful, Crispin Glover.
